That's it for now kids!
I hope this has been an enlightening time finding all about social reform through the ages.
Many differences there were but there were also many similarities, in a way showing how our country hasn't really changed in terms of societal issues. Though it does show that people still know about the issues, and even if you didn't...now you do!
Peace out homies! :)
The Feminine Mystique?

Not only African Americans but also women wanted to expand the opportunities they had in their life. The Feminine Mystique was a book by Betty Friedan, which was first published in 1963.  In the book she questioned the role of women who were put by society in a position where they were supposed to be financially, intellectually and emotionally dependent on their husbands and who feel a certain worthlessness because of that. The book is often said to be the spark to a second feminist movement.
This picture made me think about integration and how dogs manage to not care about the outside of each other but live together equal and peaceful while humans always have to make everything so complicated.
