More specifically Boss Tweed! But in his time he was considered a slime ball who took over New York, robbing it of $100 million. With the creation of Tammany Hall, Boss Tweed became the owner of the most influential yet destructive political machine known in the country. These machines are not like you would think, they exploited elections by having influence over the minorities like African Americans and immigrants who didn't have the same voting opportunities as whites. The political machines could manipulate elections greatly and Federal officials didn't do anything! I swear anything! They just let the manipulation occur because the machines could in fact manipulate stocks to benefit government. But in the end lose a crap load from NY...smart choice I know. -_-
