The Triangle Shirtwaist Fire...scandalous!

 

Scandal!!  Fire kills hundreds of people!

In the Triangle Shirtwaist factory about 146 workers, including many young Jewish women, were the victims of a terrible accident. There was a fire and the workers couldn’t escape because the factory managers locked the doors. Some people where so desperate that they jumped out of the window. For hours you could see the smoke rising up from the building. The part in which the fire was is completely destroyed.
